01The product families

Bought sensors. One band to build.

What is planned for a later phase: collections of consented, labelled episodes on your task (quoted per usable demonstration), the kit licence so your own demonstrators produce them, and dataset licences — each behind its dated gate. Cr4dle is a non-commercial research programme now, and nothing is offered for sale today. Each family below carries the posture its registry row gives it: build, buy, research or deferred.

Ember

Label the force the camera cannot see.

The wrist band that puts contact force and demonstrator state on the same clock as the video.

Ember concept as a continuous narrow graphite wrist ribbon with a pale inner liner, subtle side squeeze and hidden underside closure.
Ember concept study. Exploratory design.

03Research tiers and the deferred family

Registered.
Not products.

EEG research tiers record research-only columns in bounded sessions on bought equipment; the deferred family keeps its record with no work planned. None of these is offered, built or claimed.

Whisper paired concha-crescent earbuds with scooped graphite faces, pale upper ridges and soft relieved wings beside a low stone-shaped charging case.
Whisper concept study. Exploratory design.

L1 / Earbud + sEMG

Deferred

Whisper

An earbud and sEMG-band concept, deferred: registered, documented, no work planned.

Lumen concept as a thin curved mineral forehead crescent with tapered tips, a fine graphite underside seam and a small status aperture.
Lumen concept study. Exploratory design.

L2 / Forehead patch

Research tier

Lumen

A forehead EEG research tier: research-only columns recorded in bounded sessions on bought equipment registered before the session; none is registered today.

Crown concept as an open graphite Y-shaped head interface with a broad curved brow, two narrow swept branches, a rear saddle and pale inner liner.
Crown concept study. Exploratory design.

L3 / Headband

Research tier

Crown

A multi-channel EEG and fNIRS research instrument for bounded sessions; no headband is built.

Measured, never asserted.
Published either way.

Every channel carries a label-validity spec and a dated gate; every dataset card prints the number or the gate by which it is due.
